THERE was plenty to celebrate for Droitwich Spa Judo Kan at the Oxford Open and Bushi’s 20th Anniversary Championships.
The club took three members to the Oxford Open held at the Didcot Leisure Centre on Sunday.
Heather Beard had a strong category but fought well to clinch the bronze medal.
Sophie Brown, who was taking part in her second competition, also managed to secure bronze.
Last out was Megan Skillern who showed sheer determination to come away with the gold medal.
Skillern also claimed a gold medal at Bushi’s Anniversary Championships held at the Kingsbury Leisure Centre in Birmingham earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Lauren Hall picked up a silver medal in her category.
A Droitwich Spa Judo Kan spokesperson said: “We recognise all our members achievements big or small. “We are so proud of them all.”
