KAZOKU-KAN duo Liam Jones and Felicity Warburton claimed gold medals at the British Adaptive Judo Championships in London.
Jones took his first opponent down with an impressive O’Soto Gari leg reap for a straight out win.
In the semi-final he pulled victory out of the bag with what was becoming his trademark technique of the day, an O’Soto Gari.
Jones faced a tough opponent in the final but he managed to hold him down for the winning score of Ippon.
Up next was Warburton who produced a fantastic throw to score the win in her first contest.
Her second fight was a tough one but after a variety of techniques Warburton took the win.
She then followed that up with another fantastic display in the final to take the gold medal.
Senior instructor Rich Morrish said: “To see how far these two have come in the last year is astonishing.
“They turn up each and every session and they train hard.
“At the same event last year Felicity came away with the silver medal and this year she is a British Champion.
“It’s humbling to watch the progression of both of these fantastic youngsters.”
