DROITWICH Spa saw their Worcestershire FA County Cup clash with Redditch Borough postponed last week due to snow – with the fixture now rearranged for this weekend.
The club’s first-team and under-21’s both had their third round fixtures called off due to adverse weather with the first-team now set to play their cup match on Saturday instead.
That means their scheduled league clash with Old Wulfrunians will take place at a later date as they prepare for a local derby with Redditch Borough.
Spa boss Andy Crowther said: “We’re expecting a tough game – it’s a local derby – anything can happen in cup games.
“We’ve had a couple of weeks without a game but we should be prepared enough to hopefully get a result.”
The Saltmen were last in action against Bustleholme where they secured a 5-1 victory thanks to two goals apiece from James Lemon and Luke Molloy after Haydn Morris had opened the scoring.
Droitwich’s clash with Redditch takes place on Saturday, December 4 with kick-off at 2pm at Mettis Sports and Social Club.
