KAZOKU-Kan’s Rob Alloway came away with a bronze medal at the Scottish Masters competition in Glasgow.

Despite a hard battle in his first contest, Alloway was beaten by an armlock.

However, he responded with victory in his second contest against a Glasgow opponent to secure a place in the semi-finals.

Alloway fought well in the last four clash only to be beaten by an armlock by his Spanish opponent which secured a bronze medal for the Droitwich Spa fighter.

“Unfortunately after three good close contests I had to settle for bronze,” said Alloway.

“I would have liked to go one better but it was not my day.

“I am looking forward to returning to the Emirates Arena in Glasgow for the European Veterans Championships in June.”

Kazoku-Kan train at Physique Fitness on the Berry Hill estate in Droitwich from 6.30pm to 8pm.

The first session is free.
