A ‘BATTLE of the Bunnies’ will take place at the Shooting 4 Fun outdoor activities centre in Hanbury this Easter as the easing of Covid restrictions allows more events to take place.
Business owner Mark Treverton had many bookings cancelled, including corporate event activities, team-building days and children’s birthday parties during the pandemic but he managed to adapt the games to comply with social distancing and the rule of six.
In October the first Covid-secure family-focused outdoor laser tag event was held with a spooky Halloween theme.
The 90-minute laser tag sessions saw four groups of up to six people enjoy an outdoor battle at the 4.5 acre Oaklands Pursuits Centre, whilst adhering to Government guidelines.
The forest was divided into four distinct gaming zones and the sophisticated laser tag guns, with a 100 metre range, ensured groups from different households, or bubbles, did not need to interact directly with other player groups but could still enjoy competitive combat fun.
Next came the frosty-themed Santa Wars.
The Easter events looked unlikely because of lockdown but the PM’s timely road map announcement means the 90-minute ‘Battle of the Bunnies’ sessions can take place at 1pm and 3pm on April 1, 2 and 3.
Mark said: “This offers some much-needed outdoor fun for families, during the school Easter holiday.”
