Will you be tackling one of Droitwich Rugby Club's takeaway English breakfasts?

PEOPLE heading out for a morning walk on Sunday can pick up a full English breakfast from Droitwich Rugby Club.

The organisation is now open from 9am to midday for pre-orders for either take-away or delivery.

Vegetarian options are also available.

Last Sunday the club was fully-booked so it has now increased capacity to cope with the demand.

With no rugby being played and overheads still needing paying the club hopes people will help the club and have a nice breakfast at the same time.

Craig Browne, the club’s vice chairman, said: “We are constantly trying to think of ways to raise money for Droitwich RFC in these challenging times.

“Normally every Sunday Morning we would be making breakfasts for the many parents of our Mini and Junior teams, so it made total sense to start this as a takeaway and delivery service with safe controls in place to ensure social distancing.

“Like all community clubs at this time, we have lost all of our private hire and bar revenues.

“But the club still needs to keep up with the costs of maintenance for the months ahead.

“All support is much appreciated and goes directly back into our community club.”

Pre-booking is essential – call 07391 917251 or send a direct message on the Droitwich Rugby Club Facebook page.
