PUPILS from Westacre Middle School in Droitwich have been taking their Big Switch Off campaign to some of the town’s first schools and businesses to encourage them to join in.
We reported last week how staff and students from the school will be turning off all electrical appliances for half-an-hour between 2.15pm and 2.45pm on April 11.
The six girls who have organised the event have been busy spreading the word in a bid to get as many people across the Spa to take part.
Among the places visited have been Westlands and Chawson First Schools and Andrew Grant and Allan Morris estate agents.
