CYCLISTS have been warned to be on their guard after a number of bike thefts across Droitwich.

In the latest one reported, a £1,500 road bike attached to a car in Mulberry Tree Hill had both its wheels stolen from it.

That was at some point from 11am to 11.20am on Sunday (May 17).

Prior to that, a purple men’s Raleigh mountain bike, worth £250, was taken from the back garden of a property in De Wyche Road, Wychbold.

That happened between midday on May 10 and midday on May 17.

And a silver and grey Claude Butler mountain bike with black forks was taken between 8.30am and 3.30pm on May 14 after being chained to a frame in Hadley.

The padlock was forced open to get to the bike, which was worth £500.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
