PEOPLE wanting to get back into hockey or give it a go for the first time can take part in walking hockey sessions which start tonight (Monday) on the astroturf behind Droitwich Leisure Centre.
The sessions – which are played at a slower pace than regular hockey but are still competetive – begin at 6.30pm and are open to everyone – regardless of age, size and ability.
The Walking Hockey sessions will run for the next six to eight weeks, depending on demand.
Anyone wanting to take part tonight or in the coming sessions should wear a sturdy pair of trainers and shin pads and take a drink.
Hockey sticks will be provided.
Just turn up or email [email protected] for more information.
