VOLUNTEERS have been busy helping to spruce up Droitwich’s Norbury Theatre ahead of a hectic September schedule.
Work has taken place improving the Friar Street premises, especially backstage, but more help is required.
Stage manager Brian Hooper said: “We could always do with more volunteers at the front of house and backstage in particular, where the work involved is a bit more technical. We are always in need of help when it comes to building sets. The more people we have, the more we can do.”
Rehearsals are already in full swing for their next production, Agatha Christie’s Appointment with Death, which takes place from September 17 to September 26.
There will also be a play reading of Graham Linehan’s The Ladykillers on September 4.
