Variety of work on display as Droitwich Arts Network holds its first ever Virtual Exhibition

Droitwich Editorial 16th Jul, 2020   0

DROITWICH Arts Network is holding its first virtual exhibition.

After a special ‘private view’ for members it is now live on the group’s website.

More than 30 artists took part in the event which featured a range of works, including paintings, pottery, textiles, music and literature.

The beautifully compiled slideshow video of works shows each piece for around 20 seconds with the whole film lasting around 20 minutes.

It concludes with closing words from Wychavon Arts Development Officer Caroline Tredwell.

In them she expresses her admiration and appreciation for the group and the innovative way it had brought its exhibition to its audience virtually, enabling people to enjoy the works on offer and to share the joy that creativity brings to lives.

A DAN spokesperson thanked Rhys Jones for co-ordinating the collection and said: “It’s wonderful that we have such variety in our network.”

And the group confirmed it hoped to hold similar events in the future.
