A VAN was vandalised and items taken during an incident on Bromsgrove Road in Droitwich, near the Freemasons Arms pub.

A back tyre was slashed and a back window smashed in the break-in, which took place between 10.30am and 11.56am on March 31.

Once inside, the thieves stole a grey and black ‘Go Outdoors’ bag containing a black Fox Racing wallet, an HSBC card, picture driving licence and a gym membership card.

A hand tool set and three chainsaws were also taken from the back of the van.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said it happened at a busy time of day and there would have been people in the area at the time.

She appealed for any witnesses to get in touch.

Anyone with any information to any of these crimes should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
