TRAIN users across Droitwich are being urged to go to the meet managers from West Midlands Railway to express any concerns they have over services.
The meeting between 4.30pm and 6.30pm next Thursday, July 18, at the town’s station has been organised by the Droitwich Spa Rail User Group.
Coun Alan Humphries from the group said: “I had hoped this would be a public meeting somewhere in town but unfortunately WMR are resistant to this idea instead preferring to meet residents at the station in a ‘whistle stop’ session.”
He said bosses had collated a lot of feedback from service users since the timetable changes in May and would be providing reassurances for the future.
“This is your opportunity to voice your concerns and hear what proposals WMR have to deal with the services we are currently receiving.
“I will be in attending myself and I would encourage as many of you to attend at whatever time you can and for however long you can to have your say.”
