SEVEN people, including three children, were taken to hospital yesterday after a Land Rover towing a caravan overturned on the M5 near Droitwich.

West Midlands Ambulance Service released a statement regarding the crash this morning.

It said: “The 4×4 was believed to have rolled up to three times before landing on its roof.

“The occupants of the vehicle claimed the caravan started to sway on the carriageway, causing the car to spin and roll over.

“In total, crews treated seven patients including three children. Thankfully the three men, woman and three boys were all treated for injuries not believed to be serious and were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital by land for further treatment.”
