TEAM England has released a video to thank all the fans who turned out to cheer them on during the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Whether it be at the Alexander Stadium, the beach volleyball, the marathon and road races – both in running and cycling, the swimming and diving at Sandwell Aquatics Centre, the bowls at Leamington Spa or the Judo and rugby sevens in Coventry, the fans were there.

More than 1.5million supporters snapped up tickets in the best-attended Commonwealth Games to date – it boasted sell-out crowds across the board.

From the Opening Ceremony to the last medal awarded and Closing ceremony, Birmingham 2022’s fans have been cheering on the world-class athletes.




Recognising the home crowds for their support and encouragement across the competition, Team England have shared a few words of thanks with the amazing fans of Birmingham 2022.
