A DROITWICH building which dates back to the 16th century will open its doors tomorrow (Saturday) as part of National Heritage Open weekend.

The usual heritage walk will start at 11am outside St Richard’s House and take around 90 minutes.

It will finish outside Priory House on Friar Street which is now owned by the Droitwich Preservation Trust.

Priory House, which is not normally open to the public, is open from 10am to 1pm tomorrow and Sunday, September 15.

The walk costs £3 per person and is free to under 15s.

Costumed re-enactors from the Norbury Theatre will be part of the walk, turning up as people involved in Droitwich’s past.

Places can be booked at the Droitwich Spa Heritage and Information Centre or by calling 01905 774312.
