YEAR four pupils bid a fond farewell to St Peter’s C of E Academy in Droitwich with a swashbuckling leavers’ show as they prepare to set sail for middle school in September.
The children’s ‘Pirates of the Curry Bean’ production featured colourful characters, songs, a witty script and, of course, a treasure hunt-themed plot.
The talented players entertained their parents, families and fellow pupils throughout the week with the funds generated going towards their end-of-year party.
Mrs Todd, the school’s Key Stage 2 phase leader, said: “The hard work of the children and the year four team has really paid off.
“The standard of singing, the energy of the children and the delivery of the script has been superb.
“The performances of the children and the reaction of the audience has been wonderful to watch.
“The show will be another special memory for the children and families to take with them as they leave St Peter’s at the end of the year.”
