CHILDREN from St Peter’s Droitwich C of E Academy will be entertaining audiences this week with their Christmas production ‘Everyone Loves a Baby’.
The reception pupils’ nativity musical is about the children of a Bethlehem innkeeper being a little unsure about the arrival of a new baby.
With a humorous script and exciting songs, it is a great start to the Christmas festivities at St Peter’s.
Plans over the coming weeks include a whole school party day, Christmas services at St Peter’s Church, a trip to the panto and a Christmas dinner.
Jane Watts, the Eearly Years Foundation Stage leader, said “This year’s production has been delightful.
“The nativity story is one with which we are all familiar, however our show tells the story from a child’s perspective.
“With many of our little ones having younger siblings, the storyline of the uncertainty of the arrival of a new baby is one they can relate to.”
