TEACHERS and governors at St Peter’s First School in Droitwich will be pounding the streets of the Second City in the Birmingham half-marathon.
The school’s headteacher will be joined by her colleagues who have all been busy training in preparation for the big event on Sunday (October 19).
Staff have been trying to get as many sponsors as they can in order to raise money for their Forest School.
Headteacher Mrs Tracey O’Keeffe-Pullan said: “I am delighted there are so many of us from St Peter’s taking part in this challenge.
“The money raised from this event will allow us to maintain and develop our Forest School area, which provides a stimulating outdoor learning experience for our children.”
Anyone interested in supporting the school can send donations to St Peter’s First School in an envelope marked Forest School Runners.
