A SOUTH Worcestershire-based rock choir will perform two concerts in Droitwich next weekend to raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice.
The Rock Choir Worcestershire and Tewkesbury will have 260 of its members taking to the stage for the events at Droitwich Spa High School at 7.30pm on Friday and next Saturday, June 30 and July 1.
The choir will belt out a variety of popular music, accompanied by a live band.
Choir leader Helen Jones said : “Our aim is to raise as much money as we can for St Richard’s.
“We chose the charity as it has supported both choir members and their families and we have been touched and humbled by the truly amazing work it does.
“Singing is incredibly uplifting and we are all looking forward to raising the roof at these special concerts.”
