TRIVIA whizzes raised almost £800 for the Lido during a charity quiz at Droitwich’s St Andrew’s Town Hotel on March 15, writes Mollie Evans.
The event, organised by the Friends of Droitwich Spa Lido (FODSL), was aimed at raising cash to buy picnic tables, deckchairs and fun pool items such as canoes and float mats which help support some of the attraction’s activities.
The Mayor of Droitwich Spa, Coun Chris Bowden and her Consort, Eric Bowden attended the event.
Suzi Wood, the chair of FODSL said “It was a ‘voluntary community team effort’ for a good cause.
“On behalf of FODSL I would like to thank St. Andrews Town Hotel for kindly hosting the event.”
