PUPILS from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Droitwich took part in a gruelling sponsored exercise session as part of a Sports for Schools event which also included an inspirational visit from Olympian Kristian Thomas.
The children, right through from reception to year six, were treated to an assembly from the Wolverhampton-born Olympic-winning gymnast.
Kristian shared his experiences of being a top athlete and even showed off the Olympic bronze medal he won at London 2012.
He rounded off the morning by showing the children some amazing gymnastic moves, including forward somersaults over five children and the headteacher.
