A DRIVER in their 50s ended up in hospital after a crash on the M5 near Droitwich.
It happened around 10am on Saturday when the Nissan GT-R which was travelling southbound crossed four lanes of traffic and collided with the central reservation barrier close to Junction 5.
The motorist was taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
The southbound carriageway was closed for several hours while the emergency services dealt with the incident and cleared away the debris.
Police are now urging anyone with any information on the crash to call officers on 101.
