Police launch appeal after racing bike is stolen from garage in Tibberton

Droitwich Editorial 27th Mar, 2017   0

A RACING bike was stolen from Tibberton between 3pm and 4pm on Saturday (March 25).

The red and white Bianci bike was taken from the garage of the property in Plough Road which was open as there was a tumble dryer on inside it.

Earlier that day a man had called at the house asking if a washing machine on the edge of the garage was for sale.

He was told it was not and it is believed that same man came back to take the bike after knocking on the door to ensure no one was in.

The man was 5ft 7ins tall, and of Mediterranean appearance. He had a beard, wore jeans, spoke with a foreign accent and was wearing a luminous jacket.

There was also a large white transit van with ‘Sprint’ in large blue letters on it in the area at the time of the incident.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
