Plenty of craft activities at latest Droitwich Messy Church session

Droitwich Editorial 20th May, 2016 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

THERE will be fun and crafts at the latest Messy Church to be held at St Andrews Church in Droitwich tomorrow (Saturday).

Youngsters who go along will be able to make wind chimes, mini kites, Pentecost cakes, flame crowns, bird gliders and more.

There will be songs, a short talk and a free lunch of sandwiches for those who go to the session which runs from 10am to midday.

Rev Bev Jameson, Team Vicar Droitwich Spa, Salwarpe and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree, said: “We will be celebrating Pentecost with lots of fun crafts and great food.”

The activities mistakenly advertised by the Droitwich Arts Network for St Andrews Church will not take place, it will be the Messy Church that is on and that means the Parish Centre will be closed to the public.

Messy Church is free and open to all children of all ages accompanied by an adult.
