Ombersley School's Christmas Fair this evening

Droitwich Editorial 28th Nov, 2014 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

THERE will be plenty of festive fun at the annual Christmas Fair at Ombersley Endowed First School tonight (Friday).

The event, which will take place between 5.30pm and 7.30pm, will feature a variety of activities for all the family to raise funds for the school’s new sensory garden.

It will be packed with a whole host of festive delights including Santa’s grotto, Christmas games, craft stalls, toys, books, DVDs, sweets, fun tattoos, nail art, tombolas, a raffle and much more. There will also be a range of delicious refreshments available throughout the evening including tea and cakes and a BBQ.

Entry is £1 for adults and free for children. The adult entry fee includes a lucky programme, offering the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw to win a £20 Morrisons voucher.

Headteacher, Caroline Moore, said: “Not only is our Christmas Fair one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, it is also a fantastic opportunity to look around our wonderful school and meet some of our pupils, parents and staff. We hope you can join us to help mark the start of the festive season.”

The Christmas Fair is organised by the Friends of Ombersley School. Last academic year, the Friends raised more than £7,000 for additional resources thanks to generous staff, parents, carers and members of the local community supporting activities throughout the year.
