Number plates stolen from cars in Droitwich

Droitwich Editorial 13th Mar, 2015 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016

THE NUMBERS plates off two cars parked in Droitwich were taken at the start of this week.

Thieves targeted a blue Daewoo parked in St Peters Crescent and took both the front and back plates, worth about £25 each, between 1pm on Monday (March 9) and 9.45am the following morning.

Criminals also took the number plates off a beige Citroen, valuing a total of £50, on Pershore Lane, in Hindlip, about 2pm on Monday.

Sgt Sarah Kent, from Droitwich Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If both are stolen it is likely they were taken to be used on another vehicle and potentially in crime so it is important to report it to the police.”

Anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
