A BRAND new SPAR store opened on the Droitwich Road in Fernhill Heath last Friday (September 4).
The shop, which was officially opened by Coun Val Wood, the chairman of Wychavon District Council, occupies the site of the former Halfway House pub.
As well as the usual groceries, it also includes an in-store Subway counter and seating area, combining the convenience shop, restaurant and takeaway.
There is also Costa coffee available, a free-to-use cash machine, PayPoint and National Lottery tickets and scratchcards available.
The family-run shop will be open from 6am to 11pm Monday to Saturday and from 7am to 11pm on Sundays.
The Subway is open from 7am to 9pm everyday.
