A BODY was found in Church Lane, Droitwich, yesterday morning.
West Mercia Police were contacted at 8.40am regarding concerns for a man who had gone missing.
He was located near St Augustine’s Church and, despite the efforts of paramedics in two ambulances, two paramedic officers and the Midlands Air Ambulance crew, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A police spokesperson said: “His next of kin have been informed and his death is not being treated as suspicious.”
