Memorable day at Droitwich Spa High School as students receive their A level results

THE LONG wait is over for students at Droitwich Spa High School who received their A level results today.

Many of them will now be heading off for a new challenge and pupils gained places at a variety of universities up and down the country.

Jake Hemming achieved A* in geography, A* in history and A in english. Jake is going to study International Relations at Birmingham University.

Daniella Chiariello achieved an A in English, an A in psychology and an A* in sociology. Daniella is going to study forensic psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University.




Lucy Storey achieved A* in biology and B grades in maths and French. She is going to study French and French law at Leeds University.

Finley Williams achieved an A in maths, A* in further maths and an A physics. He is going to study Physics at Lancaster University.


Tom Baker achieved three As in economics, biology and geography and is going to study economics at Sheffield University.

Josh Sinclair has an A* in maths and two As in biology and chemistry. He is going to study Medicine at Cardiff University.

Peter Bunn achieved an A in maths and Bs in chemistry and physics. He is going to study Forensic Science at De Montfort University.

Annabel Maxted is going to Exeter University to study geology having achieved an A in maths, an A chemistry and a B in geography

Hannah Murphy achieved B grades in economics and geography and a distinction* in the Level 3 BTEC in enterprise and entrepreneurship. Hannah is going on to a Higher Level Apprenticeship.

Rhiede Bennett is going to study primary education at Worcester University having achieved a B in theatre dtudies, a B in health and social care and a C in history.

Headteacher Natalie Walters said: “Congratulations to our Year 13 students who have today been celebrating following the publication of this year’s A level results.

“In a year where there is still much uncertainty about the new examinations we are delighted that our students have performed so well and achieved places at their chosen universities.”
