Man pleads not guilty to the murder of 80-year-old Droitwich pensioner

A MAN has pleaded not guilty to the murder of 80-year-old Droitwich pensioner Desmond Wooding, who was stabbed to death in his own home.

Adam Mason, 32, from Plough Lane, Tibberton, denied the murder at Worcester Crown Court on Friday, August 9.

Mark Mason, 55, also from Plough Lane, pleaded not guilty to assisting an offender.

Both men will go on trial at the court on December 9 this year.




Mr Wooding, who had severe mobility restrictions, was found dead at his home on Vines Lane at 8.20am on Monday, June 24.
