Man charged over incident in Droitwich which saw police cars damaged and five officers injured

A MAN has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, driving without insurance and possession of cannabis, after a van collided with three police cars in Droitwich yesterday.

The incident happened in Salwarpe Road at 9am after the white van failed to stop for officers.

Five police officers suffered minor injuries in the collision in.

The police have appealed for any witnesses who have not come forward or anyone who has dashcam footage of the incident to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
