A MAN was arrested in Droitwich yesterday after being spotted putting this knife down his trousers.
Police officers responded to reports of the incident in Hanbury Road yesterday afternoon, near to the David Neville Ltd furniture shop.
The response officers tracked the man down to an address where he was arrested on suspicion of being in possession with a bladed article and taken into custody.
He has since been charged with the offence.
Police want to stress it was an isolated incident and no-one was threatened with the blade.
“It was thanks to an eagle-eyed member of the public that this situation was resolved.”
The knife has also been seized by police.
