Droitwich Editorial 13th Jul, 2020   0

SERIOUS injuries were suffered by a man and a woman when they were viciously attacked, along with another man, as they left a Droitwich pub in the early hours of yesterday morning.

As the trio were walking from The Old Cock Inn, Friar Street, at 1.30am a white MG hatchback pulled alongside them and four or five men got out.

One threw a bottle, causing the woman a serious head wound while the other men attacked the other two victims.

One of the men suffered a broken nose and fractured cheek bone and both he and the woman needed significant medical attention.

Det Con Grant Lawrence said: “This unprovoked and brutal attack resulted in multiple injuries to all three victims.

“This was a very violent and terrifying assault which left two of the victims requiring hospital treatment.”

They have all since been discharged.

DC Lawrence urged witnesses or anyone with any information to call him on 101.
