UPDATE - Motorcyclist died after Droitwich crash

A MOTORCYCLIST has died after a crash in Droitwich last night.

The collision between a motorbike and a car around 7.10pm on the A38 Roman Way at the junction of George Baylis Road.

Three ambulances, a paramedic officer, community first responder and the Midlands Air Ambulance critical care team attended, which included critical care paramedics and a BASICS trauma doctor.

The man was taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital Trauma Centre but despite everyone’s best efforts nothing could be done to save him.




The driver of the car was treated for injuries not believed to be serious and was taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.

The road was closed for several hours while emergency services dealt with the scene.


West Mercia Police are investigating how the crash happened.

Witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage around the time of the incident should call police on 101.
