DROITWICH Spa Litter Squad and the Westlands Litter Pickers will also be among the organisations promoting and participating in the Great British September Clean.
The first event will see volunteers tackling the Westlands estate on Sunday morning, September 13.
Anyone wanting to join fellow residents and councillors should meet at the Westlands Community Hall at 8am.
Then groups will head off in different directions to tackle different parts of the estate.
People should bring their own equipment where possible, but some spare sticks and bags will be available.
Coun John Hartley, who has participated in a number of the Litter Squad’s cleans, said: “This promises to be a great opportunity for the community to come together in a show of civic pride.”
Safety measures and social distancing will be in place during this event and others throughout the GBSC.
Visit the Droitwich Spa Litter Squad Facebook page for more information.
The Great British September Clean is also being backed by Wychavon District Council, through its Adopt a Street scheme.
It sees people volunteer to help clean their own local areas.
