JEWELLERY has been stolen during a burglary where thieves ransacked the house while the home owner was on holiday.

The raiders broke into the house on Churchill Avenue between 5am on October 25 and 11.30am on October 30 by smashing the patio doors at the back of the property, which was being looked after by neighbours.

Police believe they were looking for jewellery and are unsure what else has been taken.

Any witnesses or anyone with any information on the incident should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
