THE TEACHER at Himbleton C of E First School and Nursery who leads co-ordinates the Forest School has been deemed ‘inspirational’ in a recent assessment, writes Mollie Evans.
Accredited Forest School Leader Mrs Griffiths is a firm believer that the natural world provides a rich holistic place for the children to be educated in.
This specialised learning approach offers all children regular opportunities to achieve and develop their confidence through hands-on learning experiences in the on-site woodland.
So impressed was the assessor, it was suggested other Forest School Leaders visit Himbleton to see the ‘best practice’.
