PUPILS at a Droitwich school got into the harvest festival spirit by making donations to those in need, writes Lauren Tiller.
Key Stage 1 and reception children from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School as well as members of the public left food donations for the Droitwich Foodbank after a harvest festival mass.
The charitable gifts were gratefully collected from the Sacred Heart and St Catherine of Alexandria Parish by the foodbank following the special service.
Foodbank representatives said the tins and other non-perishable items would help them to boost their supplies ready for the winter months ahead.
