THERE will be plenty of fun for foodies and all the family at this weekend’s Droitwich Spa Food and Drinks festival.
As well as the 100 food stalls and the attraction of Great British Bake Off finalist Steven Bailey-Carter opening the event at 10am tomorrow, the live acts and children’s entertainment has also been confirmed.
Jamie Knight, Richard Leach’s Jazz Band, the Droitwich Community Choir and the Acorn Antiques Ukelele Band will all be performing at the bandstand in the Lido Park.
For younger visitors there will be bouncy castle, award-winning vegetable theatre with the infamous Madame Zucchini, face-painting and a ‘Pedal Your Own Smoothie’ bike.
Children can find out what local Romans use to eat in the History Discovery tent.
Funding for the event has been provided by Worcestershire County and Wychavon District Councils.
