THERE will be plenty of fun for all the family at a special open day at Droitwich Fire Station between 12pm and 3pm this Saturday, July 27.
Visitors will be able to speak to the town’s firefighters and have a behind the scenes look at the station, firefighting equipment and engines.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “There will be a chance to ride a fire engine in exchange for a small donation to the Young Firefighters Association, which will be giving exciting demonstrations on the day.”
Safety advice and information will also be available.
