FRIENDS of the late former Droitwich mayor have been invited to a special get together organised in her memory.
The event which is being hosted by The Droitwich Spa Area Forum for Older People on behalf of the town council will be held next Friday (July 17) between 10am and 12pm at the Tea Cup’s Cafe, on Gurneys Lane.
Jill Edwards, from the forum, said everyone who knew Coun Glenise Noyes was invited.
She added there would be a special book there for people wanting to share their fond personal memories of the popular councillor who had represented Wychavon since 2011 and been a Droitwich Town Councillor since 1999. She was Droitwich Spa Mayor between 2008 and 2009.
Glenise passed away in May after a short illness.
