FIVE drivers were caught speeding when Droitwich Police carried out checks on a main road in the town yesterday.
Officers carried out their monitoring operation on the Kidderminster Road dual carriageway after concerns were raised by local residents.
Droitwich Safer Neighbourhood Team has urged motorists to remember that stretch of the carriageway is 40mph.
Speeding offences usually carry a £100 fine and three penalty points.
