EVERYONE is welcome to a Christingle Service at 4pm on Sunday (December 13) at St Michael’s Church in Salwarpe.
Rev Bev Jameson, team vicar at Droitwich Spa, Salwarpe and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree, said the first event service in the Christmas calendar would be fun for all the family, with participants getting to sing much-loved carols, as well as learning about the meaning behind Christingle.
“Christingle is a wonderful service in a beautiful church and really gets everyone into the Christmas spirit.”
Light refreshments will follow the service.
At 4pm next Saturday (December 19), there will be the popular service of lessons and carols which will be followed by tea, coffee and mince pies.
The midnight Holy Communion service will begin at 11.15pm on Christmas Eve and the Christmas Day Holy Communion services will be at 10am at St Michaels and All Angels, Martin Hussingtree.
