DROITWICH’S Norbury Theatre will be helping residents extend the festive season when it stages its annual pantomime in the first three weeks of January.
Performances of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ by Toby Bradford and Tina Webster will take place from next Friday to Sunday (January 8 to 10) and then on from January 14 to 17 and between January 21 and 23.
The shows will be at 7.30pm and there will also be matinees at 2.30pm on the Saturdays and Sundays.
Beauty and the Beast tells the tale where true love finds a way through the barriers put before it.
The audience will get to see intelligent pantomime horse Gigi and get the chance to be growled at by the beast. Audience favourite panto dame Dolly will also be trying to prove how well she can cook.
A spokesperson for the theatre told The Standard: “Banish those dark January skies with lights, music and lots of action.
