Equestrian equipment stolen as burglars target tack room on farm in Wychbold

Droitwich Editorial 26th Mar, 2020   0

BURGLARS broke into a tack room at a farm in Wychbold and made off with a variety of equestrian equipment.

The theft happened between 6.30pm last night and 7.15am today.

The raiders escaped with five to six bridles, two pairs of clippers – one made by Listers and the other a Hunt Master, two pairs of long black riding boots, one made by ‘Harriet’, a black Race Safe body protector and a blue Race Safe body protector.

An electric fence energiser and battery and a red generator were also in the haul.

A broken wheelbarrow was found left near to the gate and police believe it was possibly used to transport the equipment.

A dark blue vehicle had also been spotted parked up near to the premises in recent days.

Police said enquiries were ongoing and urged anyone with any information on the theft or anyone who had been offered items matching the description of those taken to call them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
