THE EMERGENCY services have dealt with two crashes on the northbound carriageway of the M5 between Junction 6 for Worcester and Junction 5 for Droitwich.
The first was a crash between a car and a lorry at around 4.20pm.
In that one a woman was cut from the car and two casualties were taken to hospital by West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Fire crews from Worcester and Droitwich attended.
In the second, around 5.40pm a flat bed lorry caught fire.
For that one, crews from Worcester, Droitwich, Bromsgrove and Evesham attended and used water jets to extinguish the blaze.
