Your efforts could win if customers take it to art

WANNABE Warhols and promising Picassos in Droitwich can now enter an adutls competition with their most creative works.

Hobbycraft, on Worcester Road, are running their anual art contest for 16s and over to show off their drawing, painting, sketching or sculpting skills with the chance to win a £500 art hamper.

Customers will vote for their favourite piece and each stores winner will receive a £60 hamper and go forward to a national competition where they will go for the big main prize.

Residents should submit their work before Sunday, october 2 and voters can choose the best ones until Sunday October 9.




Store manager, Paula Fox, said: “Each year we vow to support local artists, giving them a platform to showcase their talents. So whether you’re a complete beginner or have been creating for years, we want to see your masterpieces.”

The store will also be holding a half price sale on art to celebrate the start of the contest alongside art demonstrations throughout the summer.
