DROITWICH’S Ravenstone Care has shown community spirit by delivering a harvest food parcel to those who need it most.
Residents and staff from the St Andrews Road care home collected the hamper for Droitwich Spa Foodbank, which is based in Droitwich Baptist Church and was founded by local churches and community groups.
Wendy Stokoe, manager at Ravenstone, said: “The volunteers at the foodbank do an amazing job and we’re pleased we were able to help.”
Droitwich Foodbank is open on Tuesdays from 12.30-2.30pm and Fridays from 2pm-4pm.
