A DROITWICH fitness instructor will take on the London Marathon on Sunday, October 3.

Kelly Tidbury, from Home From Home Fitness, is taking on the course at the third time of asking after two Covid cancellations.

She has so far raised almost £3,500 for Children With Cancer UK and has inspired five of her runners to undertake virtual London Marathons at the same time for a variety of different causes.

She has also inspired five others to take on their own virtual London Marathons for various causes.

Bernie Green and Jacqueline Shuck are running together for The Odell Centre and Transverse Myelitis and Steph Simpson, Charlotte Barker and Emma Durose are fund-raising for a variety of charities including West Mercia Retired Police Dogs Welfare Fund, Leukaemia Care and Help for Fletcher.

All of these started running by joining 0 to 5k courses with Kelly’s group Raggy Doll Runners.
